I found this website very informative. The benefits are very clear and I'm glad that they were highlighted first in their own section. I would gladly pass on this link to better inform my friends and family :)

With my experience of working with a male ECE I've seen a lot of children responding differently and more effectively with my male coworker. I've also notice some of our children who have parents who are separated/divorced of even in some cases don't have a father in their lives are more affectionate and more respondent when a male ECE is in the room.

I think this focus on promoting male figures in ECE programs is wonderful. They will definitely bring a new perspective to the way activities are carried out in childcare systems. This website will help to reduce a lot of negative stereotypes related to males and professions like ECE. I especially like some of the benefits which were outlined in this website of having males working in ECE programs. I do think this will help fathers to be able to relate to and talk with the childcare providers more easily, and it will benefit some children who do not have father figures at home.

I think males working in ECE is great! I think this field is dominated by women & it would be wonderful to have both genders shaping our youth.

There is a lot of great information on this site that can encourage any males looking to get into the Early Childhood Education field. This is a fantastic resource for males thinking about getting into the field. Children need to see that women aren't the only ones who take part in their development and well-being.

For those men who are considering a career in childcare and education, we would like to share a fantastic resource called Male Childcare and Teaching Jobs, who actively support male teachers and early years careers throughout their careers
